Jonathan’s First Ensemble Concert
Temperature plummeted in St. Louis starting Saturday. By Sunday afternoon, the chill has set in with freezing windchill and cloudy sky. However, the weather cannot dampen the festivity at Webster Community School of Music as the afternoon was filled with concerts.
At 2pm in the concert hall of Webster Music School, the String Ensemble performed with conductor Nancy Daby. This is Jonathan’s first performance with a string ensemble. Jonathan sits on the right side of the stage, to the right of a girl cellist.
Program:
- Dragon Dances (Soon Hee newbold)
- To a Wild Rose from Woodland Sketches (Edward MacDowell arr. Robert D. McCashin)
- Fandango! (Robert D. McCashin)
- March from Symphony No.6 (Piotr Ilyich Tchakovsky, arr. Andrew H. Dabczynski)
Ms. Nancy Daby teaches Suzuki violin at the Community Music School and is also the founding conductor of the String Ensemble.
